Not of this world

John 17:14–16 NLT
14 I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. 15 I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. 16 They do not belong to this world any more than I do.
John 15:19 NLT
19 The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.
1 John 4:4–6 NLT
4 But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. 5 Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them. 6 But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception.
Jesus spoke to us as people who do not belong to this world, He spoke to the disciples as if they were from the same place that he was from.
John spoke to us as if we were not from this world either. As a matter of fact, He did not speak highly about people who acted like they were from this world.

We Are Ambassadors from Heaven

2 Corinthians 5:20 NLT
20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
An ambassador represents heads of state from other countries.
The ambassador has to have a home country that is represents.
The speak for the head of state to another country.
We have been called to be Christ ambassadors!
We are the most effective at our job when we know what our Head of State would say and do!
We need to be asking the question “What is God saying?”
“What is God doing?”
“How do I represent Him the best?”

If we are going to be Good Ambassadors then we need to get hungry for our homeland

I am not saying we need to get hungry to die and go heaven, what I am saying is that we need to discover it while we are here.
As we have quoted this many times that Jesus prayed that the will of God would be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Its time to learn about this Kingdom so that we can respond the way God desires us to respond.
