John 9:4 I must work the work of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming , when no man can work.

Last Sunday we talked about knowing who and whose we are but it goes beyond knowing this fact to us actually carrying out what we have been charged to do.
Jesus had a charge and so do we according to Mark 1:38 And he said to them, “Let us go on to the next towns, that I may preach there also, for that is why I came out.”
This is also true in Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2016). (Mk 1:38). Wheaton, IL: Crossway Bibles.
So here in Matthew 28: 16-20 this story shows the Triumphed of Jesus against all odds or you could simply what He spoke came to pass
he is where the mission started he has shown that there was nothing that could hold him back from fulfilling the mission he was sent to carry out.
He has given institutions to the sister to tell his brothers to meet him in Galilee he is now ready to give them their mission to go out and make disciplines he also give them and encouraging word that he would be with them always
Why are we having a problem doing what Jesus has commanded? Are we afraid or is it that we don’t want people talking about us
Jesus fore-stated that he was the light of the world John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Matthew 5:14 says “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Why are we trying to hide?
Are we Ashamed of being on of Christs disciplines; i mean here is the son of God who died for our sins and we are a shame of servicing him. We talk about going to Heaven but we are not willing to do what he has commanded us to do.
Matthew 10:32-33 So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 10: 26-31 “So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
He warned us in Matthew 10: 16- 25 that persecution well come but we have a job to do just as he did.
Hebrews 13:9 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Joshua 1:5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.
Hebrews 13:5-6 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”
We must grab hold to the word of God and hold on with dear life
we must trust in the lord with all our might
Psalm 37:3-6 Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
proverbs 3: 3-6 Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
