Did you get some sleep last night? (also note this is a normal MS word use..
v. 1 I shall not want, I have what I need, I will lack from nothing.
v2 he gives me what I need
REST-he cause me to rest, recline, the idea of being stretched out like (Sunday afrernoon nap)
Scripture recognizes the need for physical and spiritual relief and stresses that the true resting-place of humanity lies in God, the Creator and Redeemer.
AWAKE TV SHOW-video and things I learned from show
sleep impacts reaction time (physical)
impact fine motor skills they decline (constestants would have increased their skills by 34% if they had just a few hours of sleep
impacts thinking coherently (thoughts)
Research shows tha performance decreases by 31% when we have to focus on multiple things simultaneoulsy without sleep.
This is why the Good Shepard knows we need rest. It is like a baby who fights rest…we think rest is bad (FOMO) but actually it is necessary for what is to come and since only God knows what is to come...
This week I want us to rest. As a undershepard I want to be mindful of our need to rest. (no plugged in Bible Study unplug for this week and rest.) Get a blank and lay on the grass under tree, or on the floor in your house, dont feel like you have to busy yourself with anything exerience just being, no screen to pull your emotions, rest your mind
-Teacher who talked about nap
This is Palm of calm courage to trust that God has us in every situation
Rest allows us to be restored, renewed, and rested from what we have been through and readied for where we are going.

English Standard Version Psalm 23

The LORD Is My Shepherd

23 A PSALM OF DAVID.

1  The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2  He makes me lie down in green pastures.

He leads me beside still waters.

3  He restores my soul.

He leads me in paths of righteousness

for his name’s sake.

4  Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

5  You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies;

you anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

6  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

all the days of my life,

and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD

forever.
