Galatians 6:6–10 NKJV
6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Focus verse:

Galatians 6:9 NKJV
9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

1. The Apostle Paul here points out in a different way, you better support that preacher.

Galatians 6:6 NKJV
6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
this is not the only place the apostle Paul points this out:
Deuteronomy 12:19 NKJV
19 Take heed to yourself that you do not forsake the Levite as long as you live in your land.
1 Corinthians 9:8–14 NKJV
8 Do I say these things as a mere man? Or does not the law say the same also? 9 For it is written in the law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.” Is it oxen God is concerned about? 10 Or does He say it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written, that he who plows should plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope. 11 If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things? 12 If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ. 13 Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the altar partake of the offerings of the altar? 14 Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.
1 Timothy 5:17–18 NKJV
17 Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. 18 For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”
the TV preacher has taken advantage of little old ladies. while they are not being pastors, they are living in the lap of luxury.
Don’t let that be an excuse to keep you from doing the right thing. someone else s wrong is never an excuse for mine.
not all giving to the church supports the preacher anyway.
it covers the cost of doing ministry.
I’d rather put money into people than programs anyway.
Ministry staff is paid to give their lives entirely to ministry. so they can focus on God and you.

2. Talk is cheap, (praying like heaven wont overcome living like hell).

Galatians 6:7–8 NKJV
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
however you live is what you will get.
1 Corinthians 15:33 NKJV
33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”
Galatians 6:8 NKJV
8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
Flesh-Corruption.
Spirit-everlasting life.
James 1:21–23 NKJV
21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

3. Living Right is not easy work!

Galatians 6:9 NKJV
9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
1 Corinthians 15:58 NKJV
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Living right and walking according to the word and will of God is hard work.
especially as the world becomes more bold in calling good evil and evil Good.
Isaiah 5:20 NKJV
20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

4. we should be good to each other.

Galatians 6:10 NKJV
10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
take every opportunity to do good.
my neighbor mowing the lawn.
you do good to anyone. in anyway. as you have the opportunity
then we need to practice on the house of God.
