Have Faith in God
Mark 11: 20-25
Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”
So, Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Have Faith in God

1. Faith in God is totally relying on Him. You trust God with everything in your life and everything that surrounds you.
2. You depend on God with your life.
3. Trust God to bring it to past, and to get it done.

Speak What You Believe

Jesus said, “whoever says to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea”.
This is a graphic image of the power of your words while trusting in God.
1. Impossibilities become possible with God
2. Your words can have a direct impact on your life.
3. You are to speak as though it is a reality before you see the reality.

Hinderance to Faith

1. Doubt in your heart.
2. Causes of doubt
a. Past life experiences
b. Peers
c. Rational thinking concerning the work of God
d. Our selves

Conclusion

Jesus is telling us to trust God with our lives and the impossibilities in our lives. To imitate Jesus is to be totally dependent on God. You can have what you say according to the will of God.
