We can’t do this on our own!!

1 Corinthians 4:16–18 LEB

16 Therefore I exhort you, become imitators of me. 17 Because of this, I have sent to you Timothy, who is my dear and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ Jesus, just as I teach everywhere in every church. 18 But some have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you.

1. Outer self wasting away

However, we are being renewed daily.

We can withstand the light momentary affliction because this is preparing us for our eternal glory.

Whenever we struggle because our faith we should take heart due to it preparing us for our eternal glory

This means that our current struggles even though we may feel as if it is the end of the world when scaling it to eternity it is only light an momentary.

2. Look to God

When we struggle with our faith or due to persecutions involved with our faith we need continue to look to that which we cant see. When difficulties come in our lives we so quickly look to immediate comforts of material things but we should be looking to God.

We need to looking to God and focusing on Him throughout everything that we accomplish in live.

We look to God because the material things of this world will inevitably pass away but that which is from God is eternal and will never disintegrate.

3. God Reconciled us to Himself

Whenever we look to God, He draws us to himself through reconciliation. God draws us to himself because once we are saved we are considered his son or daughter.

We are also given the ministry of reconciliation which call us to draw people to God as well.
