· 105 viewsThe Kingdom of God is being prepared to emerge. The times we are seeing are not by accident. Jesus said that He was going to prepare a place for His people, I believe we have taken this only in the literal sense of a different location "Heaven", but I propose God desires to reveal the context is in a personal way- here and now way. He chooses to reside in US- and has made Himself at home in us- therefore we have had to go through a time of purification to emerge as His.

RISING UP
RISING UP
I believe there comes a time in each of our lives where we are going to have to decide if we will rise up, or will we allow the things of life to continue to hold us back and keep us from doing what we are created to do. The reason I believe this is because it has been my story. My entire life has been one season after another of having to make this choice. You see there are people who are born into life- where they are moving forward since their first breath pretty much. If asked, they don’t remember a time of ever truly having to think about “doing” life- they just knew, or know and they don’t let anything stop them or get in their ways.
Then there are the ones who have needed some prodding along the way. A little insecure, but when they were given incentive, or shown a path they could take to success- they were easily motivated to begin pushing forward- and their lives were changed by their decision to engage and believe they were worth more than what they had thought.
Then there me- or my type of personality- not because it was our fault- but because the impact of early life affected the outcome of later life in such a way that it has made it a continual work to push forward, and not give up. Not to play a victim card or present the whoa is me attitude- it is in fact quite the opposite.
You know how Paul in 2Cor 11 gives a list of his “reasons to boast”- but not in the was some would consider boasting? He lists the ways in which what he had gone through pushed him on for the sake of the gospel of Jesus. Not because he was anything special, in fact, he states that it was “foolish”
