Before I get into teaching on character let me give some personal back ground. there are those who “came to believe” in God. I am not one who came to believe, I always believed.
this does not mean that I am better than anyone else, it only means that when it came to God I have always believed.
since I have not struggled with the the existence of Yahweh, then I have no problem with His book the bible.
increasingly we are becoming a Church that is ignorance of its God, His word, our work, this world.
when God called me into this ministry and I would think about what might happen i would get excited about what might be. By the way I still do get excited. when I hear about a woman getting her kids back. A man gets to be in a child s life that he previously not allowed be a part. that’s heaven on earth.
in the early years I would think about restoration. but restoration means to put something back.
what if you never had it in the first place?
then you don’t need restoration. you need fabrication!
I am nothing
He is everything
I can only give you what I have. what I have most to give is Jesus.
Jesus can give you everything.
Jesus is the the Chief fabricator.
whatever you need he will give you,
he doesn't want you to know whats wrong with you. he wants you to know Him in the process of fabrication.
Proverbs 29:18 (KJV 1900)
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

We can not achieve what we cannot see.

Sobriety is the foundation to life.

without sobriety there will not be the life you wanted. it will look more like hell then heaven. if you do not maintain the foundation the house will Implode.
if you learn to apply principles that got you sober and kept you sober then you have the tools to life. you have a better life then anyone else in the world.

1.We cant out run how we live. to build our life we have to build our character.

if I am going to grow outward. i have to first grow inward.
if I didn’t come from a family of Good character.
1 Corinthians 15:33 NKJV
33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”
what I do over the course of my life is who I am.
not my best action
not my worse.

what is wrong for the Christian in this definition?

Character is not born it is built.

I Decide what level of Character I operate at.

2. You have to decide who says what is right and what is wrong.

Proverbs 14:12 NKJV
12 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
Proverbs 3:5–6 NKJV
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

3. Many people talk about their faith, few talk about their character.

let me give you a hint. it is much easier to see character, than it is to see faith.
people can see character grow.
you can eat the results of character.
God meets us in the place of willingness to give us power.
