All things were created by and for God.

Before you knew yourself, God knew you!

We are "...partakers of the inheritance of the saints of light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son." (vs. 12-13)

"And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence." (18)

It's All About Jesus!

The stories and many parables in the Bible serve a purpose.

Looking at Luke 16:19 (The Rich Man and Lazarus), we saw how material things, earthly blessings did not equate to God's ultimate favor. It's okay to have nice things, but we must never feel as though we got them of our own volition.

We should always give praise, honor, and glory to God.

Put Jesus first in everything!

Celebrate God who gives us the ability to achieve!

Don't wait until it's too late like the rich man who found himself tormented.

Always remember to give honor to God, the one who has delivered us out of the darkness!
