Breaking Free From Guilt And Shame!
Breaking Free From Guilt And Shame!
1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them.
3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group
4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.
5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?”
6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.
7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”
8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.
10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
11 “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”
7 SIGNS THAT YOU HAVE AN UNGODLY SOUL TIE
1. You are in a physically, and/or emotionally, and/or spiritually abusive relationship, but you “feel” so attached to them that you refuse to cut off them off.
2. You have left a relationship, a long time ago, but you think about the other person obsessively. In other words, you can’t get them out of your mind.
3. Whenever you do anything — make a decision, have a conversation with someone etc. —you “feel” like this person is with you or watching you.
4. When you have sex with (hopefully your husband or wife), you visualize the person you have a soul tie with.
5. You take on the negative behavior of the person that your soul is tied to and carry their offenses.
6. You make excuses to stay in the relationship with the person that your tied to, even though it is negatively affecting or even destroying the important relationships in your life (husband, wife, kids, leaders, etc.)
7. You have same physical ailments or “moods” as the person your tied to. This can even include sickness, accidents, addictions etc.
People who have many past relationships find it very difficult to 'bond' or be joined to anybody, because their soul is all over the place.
HOW TO BREAK AN UNGODLY SOUL TIE?
1. Because sins were committed to cause this soul tie, repent of them! Any sex outside of the marriage covenant between a man and a woman is sin and is a definite way to create soul ties.
2. If in the sinful or unholy relationship you were given gifts, such as: rings, flowers, cards, intimate garments, etc. get rid of them!
3. If you’ve made commitments renounced and repented in Jesus' name. a. Things like "I will love you forever", or "I could never love another man (or woman)!" Remember They are spoken commitments that need to be undone verbally.
4. As Proverbs 21:23 tells us, "Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles." The tongue can bring the soul into great bondage.
5. Forgive that person if you have anything against them. Ask the Lord to release you from them and memories of your sexual past. Remember Un-forgiveness is a sin and it imprisons the one holding onto it.
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalms 51:10
Forgiveness restores God’s standard in our lives.
