1. The fig tree is planted.

The Lord said to Abram: Go out from your land, your relatives, and your father's house to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, I will bless you and I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. -Gen 12:1-2 csb

2. The tree blooms and fades.

3. The fig tree dies.

They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. -Luk 21:24 csb
I ask, then, has God rejected His people? Absolutely not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. -Rom 11:1 csb
For when God made a promise to Abraham, since He had no one greater to swear by, He swore by Himself: I will most certainly bless you, and I will greatly multiply you. And so, after waiting patiently, Abraham obtained the promise. For men swear by something greater than themselves, and for them a confirming oath ends every dispute. Because God wanted to show His unchangeable purpose even more clearly to the heirs of the promise, He guaranteed it with an oath, -Heb 6:13-17 csb

4. The tree buds once again.

Amos 9:14–15 ESV
I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,” says the Lord your God.

5. The fig tree will be reclaimed.

And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The Liberator will come from Zion; He will turn away godlessness from Jacob. And this will be My covenant with them, when I take away their sins. -Rom 11:26-27
For I tell you, you will never see Me again until you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!" -Mat 23:39

The fig tree is now blooming.
