The road to wisdom has a beginning and that beginning starts with the proper fear of the Lord. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Pr 1:7).
Wisdom is likely the greatest attribute one can have outside of Faith in this life. Because all of our decisions hing on how wise or unwise we are. Many of us can testify we have been the fool, played the fool or was just down right foolish in life.
Understanding wisdom will determine what we do and when we do and how we do. We are in unprecedented times. Fifty years from this time history book will be writing about this pandemic and the shift toward equity for black people. It would take a series of events that was so glaringly wrong and racist to enight a movement. It would be wise for America to finally deal with its racism if we are really to move forward and have true success. See Wisdom is a capacity of the mind; it involves both knowledge and the ability to direct the mind toward a full understanding of human life and toward its moral fulfillment. Wisdom is a special capacity, necessary for full human living,
The level of anger that has arisen says either we deal with this now or their will be no Amercia to cherish. It reminds me of the end of the Color Purple when Miss Ciley said until you do right by me everything you do gonna crumble. Well Mister was stubborn like a fool at first. His redemption came when he was wise to do the right thing.
The road to Wisdom is identified
Righteousness
Righteousness is found in God. Genesis 15:6 Speaks of Abraham be counted Righteous for believing the Lord. Righteousness is connected to our faith. He leads us in the paths of righteousness for his name sake. Rom 1:17 reminds us that the righteous shall live by faith. This is
Justice
Again we see this word justice coming to the forefront. Wisdom leads us to doing justly. Making fair and right decision. Justice Mispat is tied to what we have been talking about all year. We have a responsibility to be justice. The world is on fire because of the injustices that continue to persist. in our society.
Equity
we have an equity problem in America. A wise person seeks to practice equity. Equity is not equality. Equity is rooted in fairness. Equity is providing various levels of support and assistance depending on specific needs or abilities. Equality and equity are most often applied to the rights and opportunities of minority groups.
