What are we anointed for?

Jesus walked fully in what He was anointed for.

Jesus was The Word and Love in the flesh.

When we walk in what we are anointed for, we become God’s word made flesh and God’s word always produces life.

God gives us tons of content in His word in the specifics of what we are anointed for.

Isaiah 61:1–2 NKJV

Anointed For:good news to the humble

“To bring good news to the afflicted,”sense: to announce or convey a message of positive information about recent or important events.synonyms: afflicted, poor, humble, meek.

Humble: knowing what you have came from God. - Knowing you did not deserve it, but now you do because of Jesus. Humility often come through some sort of humiliation. Poor meaning you know you need more then you have. God is rewarding humility again. He does all throughout Proverbs and the new testament.

You are anointed for conveying a positive message to the ones who know they need God.

bind brokenhearted“He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,”The sense behind this verse is to bind up and encourage, or to inspire with confidence, give hope to or courage to. If you bind something then it can heal.

You are anointed to encourage, inspire with confidence and give hope to the brokenhearted.

You are captive to a lie. Of you don’t know the lie you may wrestle with, when you are not acting like your true self, “What is the story you are telling yourself?”That story is the lie. Eve and being told she could be more. Shame says something is wrong with me. Guilt says I acted outside of who I am and I can adjust. You are anointed to quickly call others by their true name and release those who are captive to shame or lies. opening doors to prisoners “And the opening of the prison to those who are bound” People get into prison by doing something that the punishment is prison.You steal, you go to prison. You lie, you go to the prison of mistrust.You cheat, you go to prison of mistrust. Prison is often a natural or law enforced consequence of breaking the image we were made in or a law of the land. It is possible to be captive for a while by others or thoughts and then you become a prisoner because you act on your own out of those beliefs.

You are anointed to show people the way back to bringing life. This one has to be the person in prison choosing to exit the open doors. This one is where victims become overcomer. The parodical son had to return home on his own. Gideon had to go down to 300 and follow the instructions of God.David had to strengthen himself in the Lord.Moses had to speak to the king.Peter had to choose to die upside down on the cross.Steven had to say out loud not to hold this against those stoning him.Paul had to go get prayed for to get his sight back. The Prison doors are open, but you have to go through those door ways yourself.

You are anointed to show people the way out the way you left that prison yourself.
