Godly Wisdom

In a world of evil & sin, what do we do?

vs. 13 conduct -> way of life, the way you life (shows where your wisdom comes from)

meekness -> gentle/humble

in disagreements we must demonstratea gentle & kind attitude

Trust God & humbly seek His wisdom

Isaiah 55:8-9

vs. 14 jealously & selfish-ambition are the antithesis of wisdom

vs. 15 ***worldly wisdom < Godly wisdom

vs. 16 false (worldly) wisdom destroys unity & produces disorder & chaos & evil

the world encourages us to promote self, put us first

do what makes you happy - the lost world calls that wise.. the Bible calls it demonic (vs.15) EXPLAIN AGAIN

So what do we do? What do we do in a world of evil & sin?

vs. 17 is the answer

seek wisdom from above (Colossians 3:1-2)

this will produce the qualities that are listed

vs. 18 those who pursue peace usher in a harvest of righteousness
