Growing up you may have been told that you needed to find your own way, fight to the top, and do everything yourself. Yet, the Bible says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding..." The Bible makes it clear that we can never earn our own way, we cannot make our own crooked paths straight, and we are not wise without God.
