The psalmist appears to be a whiner, a pouter, a crybaby. He is in midst of a pity party. His heart is heavy, his mind is stressed. He believes he is alone and God is ignoring him. This man is not alone, the Bible is filled with those who have felt displaced and despondent!
David said “If I had wings of a dove…”
Jeremiah tried to stop preaching, Jonah was a runner, Abraham lied… but let us not be judgmental we’ve all be despondent and wanted to get away from it all. We’ve all felt some way or another overwhelmed with life…let me give you a few pointers on how we can overcome these feelings…
I. DON’T STOP PRAYING
Luke 18:1 … that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

II. DON’T STOP PERSERVERING
