The world looks at second place as the place where the losers are. However, for the follower of Jesus, second place is exactly the position we need to be in. Jesus should have the first place. The very fact that we are called “followers” of Jesus means that
he is first, and we are the second position. Life in second place positions you to RECEIVE...you can’t earn.
