In this busy world of ours, it is often difficult to actually wait.
We are often in a hurry trying to go from one event to the next.
Even though we have such hectic lives at times, God wants us to wait for Him.
He wants us to wait patiently and trust that He will provide for our everyday needs.
The Bible says many times that God hears the calls of those who wait for Him and answers them.
The following verse is just one illustration of God's promises to us: /“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” /(Isaiah 40:31).
This verse says that through our waiting and trusting in God, our strength will be renewed, and we will not become tired.
This means that, with God's help, we can overcome tougher things in our lives when we are waiting for Him to provide for and deliver us.
/"Humanly speaking, it is impossible.
But with God everything is possible"/ (Matthew 19:26).
God knows what is best for all of us, and if we give up our worries to Him and wait for His guidance, we will live more fulfilled lives and feel a peace that goes beyond human understanding.
\\ /Father God, I pray that we would wait for you to intervene in our lives.
You have promised that you will help us, and I pray that we will always remember that you are with us.
You, God, are our light and our salvation.
Who then do we have to fear?
Guide us in our daily lives to help us want to take time and do things that you want us to do.
In Jesus' name, Amen./
