We know the ending.

If you have ever seen a Hallmark movie you know what it means to already have the ending figured out. If you are a Christian then you can have hope in knowing that in the end we come out as victorious. Like in the hallmark movies the lead lady always finds the love of her life who she has only known for just a couple of hours. However, the ending that we are going to experience is real! We are going to be living in something that is perfect unlike anything else. When God says it is done sin will be no more. On this side of eternity there is not ever going to be a day without pain or suffering. However, we have hope that God is always with us and there will be a day when all of this suffering ceases. God has a plan for this mess and during the mess we have to trust in Him!
Revelation 21:1–8 ESV
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” 5 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

1. God Dwelling With Us

When time is no more and those who are saved will be living with God. And we will be God’s people. We will finally be at peace because we will no longer look to ourselves as God but rather worship the true God. God dwelling with us then will be exactly like Adam and Eve walking in the garden alongside God. We can have a relationship with Him and actually be able to see Him. We are able to have this relationship with God due to once we are saved we are then considered a part of God’s family.

2. He will wipe away tears

When God makes all things new there will no longer be any tears or pain because there will no longer be any sin. The reason we have so many difficult circumstances in this life is due to sin being woven into the fabric of our lives.
The reason we can’t do this life on our own is because sin. In the end there will be no more sin and with that all of our worries and concerns will be wiped away too!
It is hard to imagine something being perfect. There has not been a single second that has passed on this earth where someone was not crying. Every single second on this earth there is at least one person crying.
Why do people cry?
Pain, anger, sadness, or self-righteousness.
Now imagine a world without any of those things.
Revelation 4:1–7 ESV
1 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” 2 At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. 3 And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald. 4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads. 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, 6 and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind: 7 the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight.
In heaven this becomes a reality due to there not being any sin at all.

3. It is DONE!

On the cross Jesus proclaimed it is finished and God proclaims that IT is DONE! Jesus finished the work of God on the cross so that we could have a relationship with God as our father and God proclaims that:
Sin is DONE
Death is DONE
Suffering is DONE
Pain is DONE
All of this is completed and finished but that is not the only thing that is done
Opportunities to come to know Christ as your savior is DONE
One last chance to get your life right is DONE
Salvation is DONE
This is terrifying because we have no idea when God is going to proclaim that it is DONE. We must be living our lives as if it was the last time we could bring our friends to salvation. We should be concerned if our own lives are not right with God.
The consequences for not coming to christ in salvation is stated in verse 8. Those who die without a relationship with Christ will suffer forever.
When Christians inherit the new heaven and earth where there is no suffering those who are not Saved will be in the lake of fire forever.
