This sermon is for Sabbath 06/20/2020 and is a Fathers’ Day message.
Many homes in the US are suffering from a phenomenon called “the phantom father.” The father who is not present at all or even if he is physically present is not emotionally involved. This phenomenon has a catastrophic effect in their children and, consequently, in the society today.
In this message we will study about Jarius, a powerful man and loving father, who sought out Jesus and pled with Him to heal his daughter, the apple of his eye. This not only saved his daughter’s life but it also impacted how she saw her father.
