Genesis 3:1–7 ESV
Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ” But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.
Story of Adam and Eve is History and it is factual. It is not allegory, is it not poetry, it is not a parable.
Jesus’ lineage is traced back to Adam
Jesus references Adam as a person who actually lived
Matthew 19:4–6 ESV
He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”
Paul referenced the fall of Adam as history not a parable
Romans 5:12 ESV
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—
Why is this so important

The Perfect Life

God created a perfect world for His perfect creation - Man
Genesis 1:27 ESV
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:28 ESV
And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
This is the family structure God intended
What happened - Sin happened

Satan’s 3-Step Manipulation Tactic

1. Sow the subtle seed of doubt in the mind.

Genesis 3:1 ESV
Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”

2. Negate God’s authority and His absolute truth.

Genesis 3:4 ESV
But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.

3. Present an enticing and seemingly irresistible gift as bait.

Genesis 3:5 ESV
For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Sin Defined: Leaving God’s intended path, and setting off on your own

End Result of Sin

Hide From God
Genesis 3:8 ESV
And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
Blame God
Genesis 3:12–13 ESV
The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
So often we want to look up and blame God - And not look with in our own selves
James - let no man say
NOT FARE TO PUT TREE IN THE MIDST OF THE GARDEN
There are 4 possible worlds God can create
No world at all
Amoral world (neither good nor bad)
A world were people could only choose to good
A world were there is free will to choose good or bad
God has spoken about all the subjects in crisis today. And offers a BIBLICAL solution, but what do many Christians do, pick and choose what we obey - or ignore what God says about a matter if is does not fit our current ideological sociological belief system . By doing this we have failed to follow the whole counsel of God

Message of Reconciliation

Reunion
2 Corinthians 5:18–19 ESV
All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
