Introduction: Have you ever wished you where a angel?

Tell me if this has happened to you.

You are watching a movie about a messenger from God. How he helps someone here on earth get their live back in order and sometimes half way through the movie you think to your self that would it be nice to be an angel or someone God uses to help others.

Well that is what God wants from us. We all are commissioned to go into the entire world and be a witness for Him.

I)                Mark 16:15, And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

A.    “And He said to them having traveled into the world all announce the good message to all the creation”

B.    While you are there, be a testimony for me.

1.     While you at the Gas Station be a testimony for me.

2.     While you at work, be a testimony for me.

3.     While you are cutting the grass, be a testimony for me.

4.     While you are at the Food store, be a testimony for me.

5.     Where ever you are at be a testimony for me.

II)              Lets go to the next part of the Great commission.

C.    Be a testimony for Christ or witnessing for Christ.

1.     Matthew 5:14-16, 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

D.    Do people see something different in you?

1.     When you walk into a room where no one know you and after a while, people start to say to themselves “there is something different about that guy.

a)      When I worked at Canon Volkswagen I met a guy who stared work there and he was from Colorado.

E.     Philippians 1:27, Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.

1.     When you are at work, or in the yard cutting the grass and start to talk to your neighbor or people at work, do you say things like God did this for me or give a testimony to them about what God has done.

2.     I used to think that unsaved people would get the wrong idea about witnessing.

III)            What is witnessing?

F.     First of all, it is living a life that is Christ like.

1.     As it says back in Matt 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men.

2.     Marshal at Myrtle Beach got saved.

3.     Gray H. and his old neighbor.

G.    Learn to talk to the unsaved just like you would talk to someone here today about what Christ is doing in your life.

1.     This takes time to learn.

2.     I would not do it because I used to think, “they would not understand it. (the things of God)

H.    Witnessing is having a relationship with others.

1.     Example would be your neighbor.

2.     Steve (Gasoline Alley) Hot Springs Rally.

Conclusion:  I have showed you that we are to be witness for Christ every minute of every day and were ever we are in this world.

I show you that our light should shine before men that they see Christ in us.

I show you that we need to be friendly to all the people we meet.

 
Hebrews 13:2, Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

And I showed you that we need to learn to talk to the unsaved the same way we talk to the saved.

And finally, that we need to establish a relationship with people to be a testimony to them through out that relationship.

Be like a angle and go out and help people. They need the help. Some need help to find Christ. Others need help in being disciple.
