Prayer: Lord Help Me to be more like you bold in my faith standing for what is right not backing down give me grace lord when i feel weak give m strength when I feel like falling Lord lift this church up into your hands take us to new height not ever seen here in Hamilton make us a church of saints touched by the Holy Ghost of God Lords lead us into the everlasting arms of Jesus Take this sermon may it Glorify your name may you bless each one of us through it giving us all the courage the boldness to stand In your name i call out Jesus amen
Israel and the northern kingdom Judah Had rejected God They had allowed forieghn gods false Gods false idols to be worshiped they like us today began to grow forgetful of How God had rescued them time and time again they began to grow cold in heart distant from God therefore God brought His wrath upon JUDAH through that of Nebuchadnezzar, I wonder if God also today is allowing America to fall because of our wickedness because of the ineffectiveness the meekness the fearful church who has ran and hid behind their walls instead of boldly standing for their faith. We have slowly allowed the same thing to happen to our nation the nation in which was founded under God to be eroded by false gods by self image worship by veiness I wonder have we become just like they.
Lets dive in to the Text This Morning
Daniel Chapter 1 verse one
Notice who was it that gave JUDAH into the hand of the conquering King Nebuchadnezzar? Was it Nebuchadnezzar and his own craftiness skilled warfare was it the weak defences of Israel, What does the text say It WAS GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD!!!!!!!!!!
He not only allowed it HE GAVE JUDAH INTO THE HANDS OF NEBUCHADNEZZAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. God is sovereign he does what He Wills No Man can move the will of God / He does things he allows things that can seem devastating to chastises his Children to bring them back under his hand to move them from their wickedness to the heart searching children he longs for
6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.”
26 When I have cut off your supply of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall bring back your bread by weight, and you shall eat and not be satisfied.
27 ‘And after all this, if you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me,
28 then I also will walk contrary to you in fury;
and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 You shall eat the flesh of your sons, and you shall eat the flesh of your daughters.
Why Does God Allow or cause these things? He Disciplines those whom He loves, This is a part of His Long suffering towards us, He brings a slight part of His wrath to correct us to teach us for He loves us that we wont endure the full force of His ultimate wrath
9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
14 I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men.
19 “Man is also chastened with pain on his bed,
And with strong pain in many of his bones,
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

The Devil wants to tell you that you are not good enough that you need to be different than you are, You see this in society so many people are changing their bodies modification of Gods creation through many perverse piercings tattoos through lypo nose jobs all kinds of cosmetic surgery there is such a big business on elective surgery because the Devil has convinced us that we arnt enough, he tells you that you need to look different change hair color more makeup be stronger changing your identity your God given identity your God Given uniqueness your perfectness created by Christ in His image, Dont you listen to the Lies of the Enemy you are enough you are pretty enough you are funny enough you are strong enough you dont need to change what God made to be better for He made you perfect You are special one of a kind Dont you let anyone not family not friends and surely not the devil tell you otherwise you are Perfectly created for you are
Fearfully and wonderfully made
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
So reach down into your soul and know that God Loves you he created you and He didnt make a mistake you are special
Now Look at verse 8
Daniel takes a stand He will not eat the things of the king he will not take the wine he will not defile His perfect God created image Here you start to see the Boldness of a man of God Fearing God more than Man
Oswald Chambers Said, “ The Remarkable thing about God is when you fear God, you fear nothing else, but if you do not fear God you fear everything else”
25 The fear of man brings a snare,
But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.
Why Fear Man When the Lord is on our Side
6 So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Fearing others leads to Sin
24 Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.
Fearing others leads to denying Christ
41 These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.
42 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; 43 for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.
Fear Only The LORD
11 For the Lord spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying:
12 “Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’
Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy,
Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.
13 The Lord of hosts, Him you shall hallow;
Let Him be your fear,
And let Him be your dread.
John Witherspoon Said “It is only the Fear of God that Delivers us from the fear of Man”
Daniel Was Rewarded for HIs Faith For His Boldness
May you also Be Bold in your Faith Standing for God not For people Belive in God that Created you to be His child perfect in all ways you need nothing more but Him He is all that can fill the whole in your hearts So Today Right Now Seek Him while he still may be found that you may share in everlasting life
Jesus said he came to give live and give it abundantly take this Gift and and begin living today don't go through this life just existing he wants you to live life this life this gift can not come by your works but what you do how much money or any worldly idealistic thought like that it comes by Giving your life to Him really giving it to him living for him not your self then only then will you begin to experience the life so stand with boldness like Daniel put away your desires surrender to Him today that you may share in this overwhelming Love and life Given
32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.
