Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless Your holy name. Lord we adore You and make known to You our adoration and love this day.

We bless Your name, Jehovah-Jireh, the One Who sees our needs and provides for them. Hallowed be Thy name!

We bless Your name, Jehovah-M’Kaddesh, the Lord our Sanctifier. You have set us apart for Yourself. Hallowed be Thy name!
Jehovah-Nissi, You are our Victory, our Banner, and our Standard. Your banner over us is love. When the enemy comes in like a flood, You lift up a standard against him. Hallowed be Thy name!
Jehovah-Shalom, we bless Your name. You are our Peace — the peace which transcends all understanding, which garrisons and mounts guard over our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Hallowed be Thy name!
We bless You, Jehovah-Tsidkenu, our Righteousness. Thank You for becoming sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Hallowed be Thy name!
Jehovah-Rohi, You are our Shepherd, and we shall not want for any good or beneficial thing. Hallowed be Thy name!
Hallelujah to Jehovah-Shammah, the One Who will never leave or forsake us. You are always there. We take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord our my Helper; we will not be seized with alarm — we will not fear or dread or be terrified. What can man do to us? Hallowed be Thy name!
We worship and adore You, El-Elyon, the Most High God, Who is the First Cause of everything, the Possessor of the heavens and earth. You are the everlasting God, the great God, the living God, the merciful God, the faithful God, the mighty God. You are Truth, Justice, Righteousness, and Perfection. You are El-Elyon— the Highest Sovereign of the heavens and the earth. Hallowed be Thy name!
Father, You have exalted above all else Your name and Your Word, and You have magnified Your Word above all Your name! The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and His name is Jesus! Hallowed be Thy name!
To Walk in Forgiveness 55
Father, in the name of Jesus, we make a fresh commitment to You to live in peace and harmony, not only with the other brothers and sisters of the Body of Christ, but also with our friends, associates, neighbors, and family.
Father, we repent of holding on to bad feelings toward others. We bind ourselves to godly repentance and loose ourselves from bitterness, resentment, envying, strife, and unkindness in any form.
Father, we ask Your forgiveness for our sins of omission and commission. By faith, we receive it, having assurance that we are cleansed from all unrighteousness through Jesus Christ. We ask You to forgive and release all who have wronged and hurt us. We forgive and release them. Deal with them in Your mercy and loving-kindness. From this moment on, we purpose to walk in love, to seek peace, to live in agreement, and to conduct ourselves toward others in a manner that is pleasing to You. We know that we have right standing with You, and Your ears are attentive to our prayers. It is written in Your Word that the love of God has been poured forth into our hearts by the Holy Ghost Who is given to me. We believe that love flows forth into the lives of everyone we know, that we may be filled with and abound in the fruits of righteousness, which bring glory and honor unto You, Lord,
Victory Over Fear 144
Father, when we are afraid, we will put our confidence in You. Yes, we will trust Your promises. And since we trust You, what can mere man do to us?
You have not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline (sound judgment). Therefore, we are not ashamed of the testimony of my Lord. We have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but we have received a spirit of adoption as a son, by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
Jesus, You delivered us, who, through fear of death, had been living all our lives as slaves to constant dread. We receive the gifts You left us — peace of mind and heart! And the peace You give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. We cast away troubled thoughts, and we choose not to be afraid. We believe in God; We believe also in You.
Lord, You are our Light and our Salvation; You protect us from danger — whom shall we fear? When evil men come to destroy us, they will stumble and fall! Yes, though a mighty army marches against us, our hearts shall know no fear! We are confident that You will save us.
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for bringing these things to our remembrance when we are tempted to be afraid. We will trust in our God.
Overcoming Intimidation 154
Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus, confessing that intimidation has caused us to stumble. We ask for Your help in forgiving those who think of us as inferior, for we are created in Your image, and we are Your workmanship. Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is in us. Therefore, the power that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us and causes us to face life with hope and divine energy.
The Lord is our Light and our Salvation; whom shall we fear? The Lord is the Strength of our lives; of whom shall we be afraid? Lord, You said that You would never leave us or forsake us. Therefore, we can say without any doubt or fear that You are our Helper, and we are not afraid of anything that mere man can do to us. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. If God is for us, who can be against us? We are free from the fear of man and public opinion.
Father, You have not given us a spirit of timidity — of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear — but You have given us a spirit of power and of love and of a calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. We can do all things through Christ Who gives us the strength.
Seeking Safety in a Place of Violence 328
Father, we are Your children. We have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Our sins are forgiven.
As Your children, we pray according to Your Word, asking for Your protection for each of us. Give safety to our children and ease them day by day. Our lives are exceedingly filled with the scorning and scoffing of those who are at ease and with the contempt of the proud (irresponsible tyrants who disregard Your law).
Lord, You see the violence and racists activities we are enduring in the various areas of our lives. You see the drug dealers, gang members and child traffickers living in our neighborhoods who are waiting to snare our children. Those in positions of authority, those sworn to serve and protect are killing us. Lord help them to recognize Black Lives Matter.
Father, there are those of the household of faith who are calling slavery a blessing, elected officials saying Whites paid for the sin of slavery by electing an African American President, elected officials failing to lead in the crises our nation faces, Lord you see the pandemic, the murder of its citizens, and the systemic racism in every area of our lives.
On the authority of Your Word, we ask that You destroy their schemes; O Lord, confuse their tongues, for we have seen violence and strife in our nation. Day and night they go about on its walls; iniquity and mischief are in its midst. Violence and ruin are within it; fraud and guile do not depart from its streets and marketplaces. We are calling upon You, Lord, and we know, Lord we believe, You will save us and our households as well.
Father, in the name of Jesus, You, and You alone, are our safety and our protection. Our households are looking to You, for our strength comes from You — the God Who made heaven and earth. You will not let us stumble. You are our Guardian God Who will not fall asleep. You are right at our side to protect us. You guard us from every evil, You guard our very lives. You guard us when we leave and when we return. You guard us now; You guard us always.
Our households were chosen and foreknown by You, Father, and consecrated (sanctified, made holy) by the Spirit to be obedient to Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and to be sprinkled with [His] blood. We receive grace (spiritual blessing) and peace in ever-increasing abundance [that spiritual peace to be realized in and through Christ, freedom from fears, agitating passions, moral conflicts, and premature death.
Lord, Your Son, Jesus, became our Passover by shedding His own precious blood. He is the Mediator (the Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and His sprinkled blood speaks of mercy. On the authority of Your Word, we proclaim that the blood of Jesus is our protection, as it is written, “...when I see the blood, I will pass over you...” (Ex. 12:13). We declare and decree that we are drawing a bloodline around our children, and the evil one cannot cross it.
We know that none of the God-begotten make a practice of sin. The God-begotten are also the God-protected. The evil one can’t lay a hand on our households. We know that we are held firm by You, Lord.
_______________________________________
Heavenly Father, pray for the safety and wellbeing of Black men everywhere. You see the injustices, the dangers and the perils they face in their everyday lives. You know their every sleepless night. You see each tear and the heartache they deal with perpetually. Father, Jesus was despised and rejected — a Man of Sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief and so we know you understand our pain.
Lord, we pray you place a hedge of protection around our Black boys and men, we pray Your grace and mercy over our sons, our brothers, our husbands, our fathers, our grandfathers, our uncles, our cousins, our nephews; Lord we pray for every Black man, those we know and love and those we’ve never met, for they all belong to you.
Father we pray You will build them up where they’re torn down, encourage those who are discouraged, Lord lift them from the despair, the depression and oppression they face at the hands of those who would only see and judge them on their outward appearance, never seeing their hearts.
Father, our Black men face dejection, disappointment, and anger, but we know that You are mighty to deliver. Because of Your mighty hand, You will drive out the forces that have set themselves up against them. You are the Lord, Yahweh, the Promise-Keeper, the Almighty One.
Lord, we know they are not inferior, as some dare to think, for you created them in Your image, and they are Your workmanship. Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is in them. Father, we are calling upon You, oh God, to rescue our Black men; to redeem their lives in peace from the battle of hopelessness that is against them. We cast our burdens on You, Lord, we release the weight of them, and You sustain us; You will never allow the consistently righteous to be moved, made to slip, fall, or fail.
Hopelessness lies in wait to swallow them up or trample them all day long. Whenever they are afraid, please give them confidence; help them put their trust and reliance in You. By Your help, God, let them praise Your Word; help them lean and rely on You, let them confidently put their trust in you; Lord help them to not fear.
Father God, please help them to run this race with patient endurance and steady and active persistence, help them run the appointed course that is set before them. Father we rebuke the spirit of fear, for they are established in righteousness. Oppression and destruction shall not come near them. There are those who may gather together and stir up strife, but it is not from You, Father. We declare that whoever stirs up strife against them shall fall and surrender to them. Lord we proclaim, our Black men are more than conquerors through Him Who loves them, through Christ Jesus.
Father, we give You all our worries and cares, for You are always thinking about us and watching everything that concerns us. Our men are well-balanced and careful — vigilant, watching out for attacks from Satan, the great enemy. By Your grace they are standing firm, trusting You, and remembering that others all around the world are witnessing their sufferings and standing and marching with them too. You, God, are full of kindness through Christ and will give them Your eternal glory. In the name of Jesus, we declare we are overcomers by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimonies.
