I want you to know that:

I am in search of the truth

Is the Bible true?

Or is it just a story?

Can I trust in this Bible?

Will it change my life?

Is this the inspired word of God?

If it is, is all of it true?

John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Acts 17:11, These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

I want to challagen all of us tonight to spent time in the Bible to find out what is true about speaking in tongues.

2 Peter 1:19-21,19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2 Timothy 3:16-17,16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

What if the sermon you are listening to on the radio is false,

What is I gave you something that is false.

How will you know?

God tells us in these verses that it is our reasonability to find out in the Bible what is true

I want to challenge each of you to read 1 Cor chapter 12,13,14

Read over and over until you get the main though God is trying to tell us.
