Is anything to hard for God?

Genesis 18:9-14, 9 And they said to him, Where is Sarah your wife? And he said, [She is here] in the tent. 10 [The Lord] said, I will surely return to you when the season comes round, and behold, Sarah your wife will have a son. And Sarah was listening and heard it at the tent door which was behind Him. 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in years; it had ceased to be with Sarah as with [young] women. [She was past the age of childbearing]. 12 Therefore Sarah laughed to herself, saying, After I have become aged shall I have pleasure and delight, my lord (husband), being old also? 13 And the Lord asked Abraham, Why did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I really bear a child when I am so old? 14 Is anything too hard or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes around, I will return to you and Sarah shall have borne a son.

D.    They had 300 servants     , yet they did the work for God.

III.    Abraham asks God to answer his prayers. (Verses 23-33)

A.    Back in verses 17-22 God tell Abraham that He is going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah.

B.    Abraham asks God if the were 50 righteous people there would He destroy the city? God said no.

1.     Remember, what is prayer? Talking to God.

2.     Than Abraham goes down until he stops at 10 people.

3.     God tells him if there be 10 righteous people in that city He will not destroy it.

4.     Put there is not even 10.

C.    God in His mercy brings out what righteous people there are, which is Lot (Abraham’s brother) and his wife and their 2 daughters.

In our prayer life, there is nothing to hard for God and He will answer your prayers, even the ones were we push the envelope.

Abraham served God with his whole heard as well as gave much back to God in his offerings. Because of this God answered his prayers.
