I. My Testimony
A. I am 58 years old, and I started riding at 17.
B. I got saved in 1973 and my wife was saved the same night.
C. In 1975 God call me to preach and I came down to BJU.
1. I had 3 bikes at the time and left them back in Maryland for my brother to sell.
2. I never thought I would be on a biker again.
D. I went through BJ and never know were God was leading me to go.
1. I always felt it had something to do with traveling.
2. On my list of possibilities, being a missionary was not one of them.
E. My trade at the time was auto mechanic.
1. One day a man came to me to have his tuck fixed and only had a 350 Honda to trade for the work.
F. I got on the bike and the bug came back to me.
G. I always wanted a HD, but was always out of my reach financially. (My wife’s pictures out of a book)
H. So I made the Honda look like HD.
1. I remember one day while riding and talking to God, I told Him that I would be content to ride this and never get a HD.
2. 6 months later I was a proud owner of 1982 HD.
I. My wife and I started to go some rallies.
1. While at the Myrtle Beach Rally waiting in line to get a coke, God spoke to me.
2. If God had called me at that time I would have done it for the novelty of it.
J. So over a 5 years time span God slowly bought me in the back door to get me into the ministry.
K. Now I have been 8 years full time and the 5 years I did it part time.
II. Today my ministry is two fowl.
A. Going to Rallies.
1. I go to 10 rallies a year.
2. I set up a wagon, which I pull with my bike.
B. Local ministry.
1. I speak every Sunday.
a) I have 8 to 12 bikers show up.
2. It all started several years ago when I could not get bikers to come here.
a) I started in a restaurant.
b) Than God open the door for me to get a store to use.
3. I do two Bible Studies a week.
a) One in Greenville, with an average of 7 coming.
b) The other in Hendersonville, NC with 2 to 9 coming.
C. I do regular visitation and local events as well.
D. I put on 3 retreats a year.
E. I have a web site (stlmm.org)
