Romans 8:27
I. He that searches the heart.
A. God searches the heart.
1. 1 Samuel 16:7, But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
B.
II. Knowth what is in the mind of the Spirit.
A. God the father knows what the Holy Spirit is thinking.
1. The Holy Spirit and God are in perfect relationship and with that one can talk to the other.
2. Nothing can keep them apart.
B. The Holy Spirits which is inside of us know everything we are thinking and can be the best one to relay our innermost thoughts to God.
C. God can see through what really hurts us. We do not always tell other what we really feel, but God knows.
III. Spirit maketh intercession according to the will of God.
A. We know that Jesus Christ is right know at the right hand of God making intercession for us.
B. Now we read here, that we have the Holy Spirit interceding for us from within.
C. When the Holy Spirit intercedes for us it is always in accordance with God's will.
D. “The Holy Spirit indwelling the saint, comes to the aid of that saint in his spiritual problems and difficulties, not by taking over the responsibility for them and giving the saint an automatic deliverance without any effort on his part, but by lending a helping hand, allowing him to work out his problems and overcome his difficulties,” [1]
1. When we pray (we don’t know all the details, but the Holy Spirit does and can pray to God more effectively.
Conclusion: We have all the God Head working for us as Christians. Knowing that, we know this, we should not worry so much over the things of this world.
