Romans 8:28

Introduction:  and now we come to the conclusion of what has been spoken of for the last 2 days.

I.       “And we know that all things work together for good”

A.    No matter how bad things can get in our lives, God can use those things to work together for good to us.

B.    We need to understand that all things can be used of God to help us.

1.     Remember Paul had been stoned, beaten, in prison and he tells us that all things work for good.

C.    We have just learned what the Holy Spirit does for us in our every day life and in doing so we know that all things work together for good.

II.     “To them that love God”

A.    One thing we need to make sure of here is Paul is talking about Christian who is tiring to have a relationship with God.

B.    If you tell me you love some one, and you are not doing things for them all the time, something is wrong.

III.    “To them who are the called according to his purpose.”

A.    God's purpose is much better than the best plan we could come up with.

1.     Matthew 11:29, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

B.    We must learn to let God's will be done in our lives; His way is easier and better.

C.    Think of it this way: God's will, will be done so it best that we get on for the ride and enjoy life.

Conclusion:  We have learned that God has prepared help for us to get through each day of our life’s so lets use it.

We have the Holy Spirit in us praying to God for us and that should give us peace. We already know that Christ is in heaven acting on our behalf. We have a full house.

And with all of this, we know that God's people are called to His purpose so lets site back and enjoy the ride until we get to heaven.
