This morning we will be talking about Faith & Hope
What are they and how do we use it in our every day life
\\ *Hebrews 11:1*, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
So what is hope?
How do we use hope?
I hope to have a new car or I hope one day to have a new house.
What are your hopes?
Each of us has them
! I. Do we have hope?
!! A. Do we use hope in your everyday life?
!! B. What do we hope for?

II.
What is Faith & Hope?
Let us look back in Heb11: 1.
We see two parts
!! A. *Part I:* “The substances of things hoped for”
!!! 1.
What ever we hope for is in the future
!!!! a) I hope to have my house paid off one day
!!!! b) I hope to have great grandchildren one day
!!!! c) I hope to own a new HD one day
!!!! d) I hope to own a 63 Corvette one day
!!! 2. Now Faith is what gives us the things we hope for
!!!! a) Faith brings hope into our presents
!!! 3. Faith is the beginning to what might be.
Faith brings hope into the realm of possibility, into reality
!!! 4. Hope by itself does nothing.

!!! 5. We must use Faith for Hope to start becoming reality
!! B. *Part II :* “Evidence of things not seen”
!!! 1. Faith goes were our senses can not see or our reasoning can not comprehend
!!! 2. Through Faith we can see the impossible
!!!! a) The impossible is now possible
!!! 3. Faith is the evidence of things we can not see

III.
How do we use Faith & Hope with God?
!! A. The Word of God becomes our glasses to see the impossible.
Because we are Spiritually blinded
!!! 1. Without the glasses we can not see the possibility of what we hope for
!!!! a) As we take our faith and look into the Bible, we are putting on the glasses to see what God can do.
!! B. Now the things we hope for have possibilities.
Remember what God tells us in
!!! 1. *Hebrews 11:6*, But without faith/ it is/ impossible to please/ him/: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and/ that/ he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
!!! 2. We must believe in our hearts as well as our minds as we put on our spiritual glasses.
Look in
!!!! a) *Romans 10:9-10*,9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
!!!! b) So the mind confess with the month
!!!! c) And the heart we believe unto salvation
!!! 3. All this make *Faith &* *Hope* possible
!! C. As we have been looking into the Bible this morning (our spiritual glasses) to see how hope works with faith, so is the Bible our glasses to open up to us the world of Faith & Hope
!!! 1. Through the Bible we see examples of faith as we can read through the *Hebrews 11* (Known as The Faith Chapter)
!!! 2. There are so many examples for us to look at and all this is for us
*Conclusion:*
We use hope every day of our lives.
I pray that today you have seen some things which will help you understand how to use Faith & Hope.
And how we use Faith with hope to see things come to past.
And how putting on our spiritual glasses (which is the word of God) all the things we hope for become possible can become reality
