The pharisees refuse to hear the message of John the Baptist and repent for their sins.
Jesus however comes forth to be baptized.
Jesus supports a ministry movement that isn’t being validated by the religious elite.
Does this mean that Jesus had sin or iniquity?
No!
Jesus validates the need for repentance and takes away the ability of all me to justify by their good works and self-righteousness deny that they are in need of repentance.
Why? Because he who had no sin or need to repent from sin, is baptized so that all may have to come by that way without excuse.
II Cor 5:16-21
So even though the religious leaders didn’t validate the ministry of John the Baptist God through Jesus Christ does.
So that people could see how to be reconciled to God
God through supernatural means validates the ministry of Jesus
This approval is his HOLY SPIRIT
God has a way of supernaturally putting his stamp of approval on his work
Eph 1:11-13
Lastly, Not everyone will be able to ascertain the supernatural move of God
I Cor 2:6-16
CONCLUSION
Jesus’s Public Anointing to Ministry was a Supernatural Work of God.
This supernatural work was used to validate both Jesus’s and John the Baptist Ministry callings for people to repent and be reconciled to God!
