HABLANDO DE JESUS

1 Jn. 1:1-4

“Lo que ha sido desde el principio, lo que hemos oído, lo que hemos visto con nuestros propios ojos, lo que hemos contemplado, lo que hemos tocado con las manos, esto les anunciamos respecto al Verbo que es vida. Esta vida se manifestó. Nosotros la hemos visto y damos testimonio de ella, y les anunciamos a ustedes la vida eterna que estaba con el Padre y que se nos ha manifestado. Les anunciamos lo que hemos visto y oído, para que también ustedes tengan comunión con nosotros. Y nuestra comunión es con el Padre y con su Hijo Jesucristo. Les escribimos estas cosas para que nuestra alegría sea completa.” “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete.”

I.            HABLARON/SPOKE - to express thoughts, opinions, or feelings orally

A.      ¿Que hablaron?

1. “lo que ha sido desde el principio” / from the beginning

2. “lo que hemos oido” / we have heard

3. “lo que hemos visto con nuestros ojos” / we have seen

4. “lo que hemos contemplado” / we have looked at

5. “lo que hemos tocado con las manos” / have touched

6. “la vida que se manifesto”   The life appeared

7. “damos testimonio de ella” / and testify to it

B.      ¿Porque testificar de El? - to make a statement based on personal knowledge or belief

1. “tengan communion con nosotros” / have fellowship

a)      Num. 10:29 “…Come with us and we will treat you well, for the Lord has promised good things to Israel.” “…Ven con nosotros. Seremos generosos contigo, ya que el Señor ha prometido ser generoso con Israel.”

2. “communion es con el Padre y su Hijo”

a)      Esto es necesario en el hogar y sociedad

3. Nuestra alegria sea completa / make our joy complete

II.            ¿COMO HABLAR DE EL? / HOW DO WE SPEAK OF HIM?

A.      Tomar la atencion / “Get the attention

1. Acts. 2:14 “Entonces Pedro, poniéndose en pie con los once, alzó la voz y les habló diciendo: … y oíd mis palabras.” “Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: … listen carefully to what I say.”

B.      “De tal manera” / “Effectively” -

1. Acts 14:1  “Aconteció en Iconio que entraron juntos en la sinagoga de los judíos, y hablaron de tal manera que creyó una gran multitud de judíos, y asimismo de griegos.” “At Iconium Paul and Barnabas went as usual into the Jewish synagogue. There they spoke so effectively that a great number of Jews and Gentiles believed.”

C.      Use la Biblia / Use the Bible

1. Acts 8:25 “Y ellos, habiendo testificado y hablado la palabra de Dios…” “When they had testified and proclaimed the word of the Lord…”

D.      Hazlo con Denuedo / Do it with boldness

1. Acts. 14:3 “Por tanto, se detuvieron allí mucho tiempo, hablando con denuedo, confiados en el Señor, el cual daba testimonio a la palabra de su gracia, concediendo que se hiciesen por las manos de ellos señales y prodigios.” “So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to do miraculous signs and wonders.”

E.       Con el poder del Espiritu / With the power of the Holy Spirit

1. Acts 4:33 “Y con gran poder los apóstoles daban testimonio de la resurrección del Señor Jesús, y abundante gracia era sobre todos ellos.” “With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.”

1. Acts. 18:25 “Este había sido instruido en el camino del Señor; y siendo de espíritu fervoroso, hablaba y enseñaba diligentemente lo concerniente al Señor, aunque solamente conocía el bautismo de Juan.” “He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John.”
