Genesis 11:31 KJV 1900
And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Introduction: Everything known an unknown has a beginning except God.
Just take a look around his this building, when you leave, when you’re around your house, etc...
STARTING OUT WITH GOD IS VERY IMPORTANT
TERAH - wild goat or trouble
LOT - peddle or delay.
HARAN - crossroad or place of decision.
Relationships which we have chosen has caused much trouble and delay in our walk with God.
Hindrance
Sidetracked
In order to start your relationship God way, you must make the right decisions.
ABRAM IS SEPARATED FROM TERAH
Genesis 11:32 KJV 1900
And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.
Genesis 12:4 KJV 1900
So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
Egypt - troubles or oppresses, anguish.
This often happens to believers when they find themselves in the wrong place.
Delayed - in growth.
Delayed - as been where God wants them to be.
Where are you at spiritually right now...
Canaan - promise land/( low-spirited · downcast · sad · dejected · depressed · low · gloomy)
Genesis 12:7 KJV 1900
And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.
Abram was delay at this point of his life, and God did not speak to him again until he makes this great decision.
ABRAM SEPARATES FROM LOT IN CANAAN.
God renews Abram vision

And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
