Do it in Love

1 Corinthians 16:13–14 NIV

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.

Doing everything in love is the same thing as being led by the Spirit and keeping step with the Spirit.

Doing everything in love is good practice for eternity.

Do everything in love,” keeps my mouth shut a lot of the time.

The times have changed:

Regardless of what was, God has a “there” he wants to take us.

Moses my servant is dead:

I was captivated by “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them.

So, we have the battle of fear and faith and all that this looks like.

The love of many grows cold

Those of us with ears to hear should listen and understand...

This is now the world; the world we are living in. For God’s people, going into the unknown, there is a call, to keep in step with the Spirit, because he is not taking us to the same place that the world is going; we are no longer going with the tide.

We are swimming against the tide

As we move further into this new Season, day by day, week after week, the Lord raise our glance, look to the mountains from which comes our help, and fix our mind’s attention and our heart’s affection solidly on the Kingdom of God, His rule, and His mission.

Joshua 1:7–8 ESV

Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

God tells Joshua three times to be strong and courageous,

It is also a very comforting passage when one is fearful of the unknown

To be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left

And to keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night,

When in the dark, draw close to the Lord, mediate on his word, because it transforms the soul,

Do what he asks, don’t turn to the right or the left and then 1 Cor 16 it

I will not walk in the counsel of the Ungodly.

Faithless and Graceless

It breeds division and destruction, it break Relationship with God and with people.

All sins are sins of relationship.

Therefore We Walk by Faith, not by sight, trusting in His Word which is Truth.

Many battles lie ahead, Our Faith will be tested, Our Courage will overcome, and Our Relationships will be strengthened and bound together in God's Grace and Love.

Our lives will speak the gospel, we will be heard but also seen as we step into the fullness of who we are In Him.

Demonstrating that Jesus has all authority over Life and Death.

God is real and rewards those who diligently, and sincerely seek Him. Our reward is a good conscience, able to stand confidently without excuse or rationalization in obedience to Him.

Forgiven and Forgiving, having been Born Again not of corruptible but incorruptible seed through The Holy Spirit. We live confidently in the flesh without Fear, knowing our citizenship is in Eternity with Our Father.

Philippians 3:3 ESV

For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh—
