Happy belated birthday Americans!
On July 4th 1776 the Continental Congress declared Independence from the tyranny of Great Britain rule. By do so they deemed the 13 colonies free from the Iron grip of King George III. The American Experiment is unlike anything the world has ever seen before. The discovery of the New World offered a unique opportunity for people of any nation to forge their own destinies. Escaping the Tyranny of Great Brattain the settlers had a chance for a new life. A life that no longer mattered about their social status or family heritage. A life that no longer depended on poor past decisions or family history. It was a place where men and women could chart their own course and be led by their own stars. A land where every man, woman, boy and girl are free.
But I would be remiss to pretend that it started that way for everyone. The world was ravaged by the African slave trade that didn’t originate in America, it originated in sub-Sahara Africa where warring African tribes would take its prisoners and sell them to Muslim Buyers. Then in Europe as the Portuguese sailed down the Western Part of America in search of laborers for the growing agriculture needs of Europe and then to the Americas. It is an ugly and shameful part of our history, and the history of the world. In Fact it led to the bloodiest war that America has ever faced, and that was the civil War. Where over 600,000 souls were lost. Underneath the leadership of the first Republican President ever, you might have heard of him, Abraham Lincoln, and a Republican led congress outlawed the practice of slavery. This came about because of the prayers of many Christians who led the abolitionist movement pushing for the practice of slavery to come to an end, because it was demonic, unjust, and inhumane practice. America is not without her faults, but she paid for her sins in the Civil war where for 4 long grueling years over 620,000 Americans died.
It has been said that those who are ignorant of the past are doomed to repeat it. That is the danger by the way of tearing down memorials. Memorials are there to help us remember the good, the bad and the ugly. If we forget our sins, if we are ignorant of the past, or on the good side if we forget the brave American spirit that forged out the greatest country on the face of the planet.... I promise you the scripture that says there is nothing new under the sun will take effect and we will repeat the same horrible mistakes, or we will forget in times of trouble that we have a heritage of overcoming the odds.
EMANCIPATION OF PROCLAMATION
On January 1, 1863 Abraham Lincoln wearied by a bloody Civil war signed the Emancipation of Proclamation, an executive order freeing all known slaves. But do you know what happened? Many slaves remained so years after the Emancipation of Proclamation. Here were these mena dn women, who legally had been set free from the slavery, but remaining slaves. Why? Because they simply did not know.... Many believers are living that way today. They have been set free by the blood of Christ but they continue to live underneath the shackles of sin and under the tyranny of their slave master Satan. They have never possessed their possessions that they have in Christ, and they live downtrodden, defeated, depressed lives. This morning we are going to continue our end of days Series if you have your bible I would like you to open to the Book of Revelation chapter 12
1 And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 2 She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth. 3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. 4 His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it. 5 She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne, 6 and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.
THE LONG AND BLOODY WAR
Just like the long and bloody war of Americas one and hopefully only Civil war, there was first a Civil war in heaven. And that long bloody battle has been waged through the eons of history. It tells us that we have an immortal enemy of our souls. One that first caused a rebellion in the heavens and continues his rebellion here on the earth. And he is the real reason for the crazy atrocities that have plagued us since the fall.

do you want to know the real power behind the demonic, ATROCIOUS practice of killing innocent babies through the abortion industry AND SELLING OFF THEIR BODY PARTS.

WHAT Behind THE world of SEX TRAFFICKING AND KIDNAPPING OF YOUNG KIDS
Whats behind the drug cartels that will brutally murder people and the drug world that is destroying countless lives
Why is it that there are nations around the world dead set on the destruction of ISrtael and America? Whats behind certain foreign leaders who we can never seem to negotiate with? The Bible makes it clear, behind the Kingdom of man is the Kingdom of Darkness and this morning we are going to look at this King of Darkness
Well we see whats behind evil of the world
There has been a long and brutal battle being fought since the begining of time.
Lets break down this passage first go back to the first couple of verses
1 And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 2 She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth. 3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems.
A Great Sign- first we see a woman and what a woman she is, she is clothed with the sun. the moon under her feet and a crown of 12 stars upon her head. and she is in agony. She is in the throws of a painful birth. She is writhing with pain as she is giving birth. And she has a dreadful enemy standing before her ready to devour the child? Who is this woman and who is this child that is so important?
Well the woman is no woman at all it is the nation of Israel,
9 Then he dreamed another dream and told it to his brothers and said, “Behold, I have dreamed another dream. Behold, the sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”
the Jewish nation and the child, well he tells us in verse 5 hwo the child is.
5 She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne,
NOw why is the dragon wanting to devour this child. Well because remember there is a bloody war that started in heaven and is raging around us. The dragon is the devil hiumslef and he is the great destroyer, the child is the one that will destroy him. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. The one that will rule the nations with a rod of iron. Now the Rod of Iron is not a royal scepter like some translations make it out to be. This rod of Iron is a Shepherds club. What a shepherd would use in those days to destroy wild beasts that would attack the flock.
NOw notice in verse 1 that The woman is described as a Great Sign… Why would God describe them as a great sign?
Well because they are the greatest proof that God exists. The Jewish people are the oldest people group on the face of the planet that can trace their identities all the way back to Noah
The are also the most persecuted people on the face of the planet
The Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Greeks , the Romans, and Hitler have all tried to exterminate the Jewish nation
and after being out of their own lands from 70 Ad to 1948 almost 1900 years God brings them back to their land
the second sign- THE DRAGON

And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it.
Now God is trying to tell us something about our advesary. And that He is the greatest, most vicious and powerful adversary that anyone can imagine. All the villians written about in fiction and the real world mass murders find their inspiration in this one who is called Satan. A lot of people have a lot of funny ideas about this devil. They take him as a joke, think him to be a clown but that is not the Bibles Portrait of Him. Whenever He is described in scripture. He is done so as a Crowned Monarch..
Jesus refered to him as the prince of this world
Apostle Paul called Satan the God of this world.
And in Ephesians 6 Paul refered to Him as the Prince of the Power of the Air.
John says that the whole world lies under His power. And The deceiver of the Whole World
in Revelation as the Great destroyerer
So let us not kid ourselves that we are dealing with some fool. And the Bible says that He is systematically trying to decieve and destroy you.
In Ezekial 28 Ezekiel tells us that when God first created the one that would effentually become the devil, He was created in perfect beauty and perfect wisdom. That is there is none more beautiful than Lucifer. And He has not lost his physical beuty, Paul says that He can disquise himself as an angel of Light. In fact He was so beautiful and so Brillant that he led a rebellion in heaven and took a third of the angels with him, that we now call demons

remember this is symbolisma nd the stars here represent celestial beings, what we refer to as angels. But they became devils. Which some ask, well why did God create a devil? The answer is he did not but created a beautiful angel that was meant to give him Glory. His name when God created Lucifer meant son of the Morning.... When he fell from Heaven He became the Father of the Night.
Now notice His description back in verses 3 and 4

And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it.
_ First He is described as a great Red Dragon
Red speaks of His lust for Blood - Jesus said e was a murderer from the Beginning
Dragon describes his murderous nature. Ever since he clawed his way into history he has been doing just that.
He is a devil of war and His demons are demons of war. Do you know why there are certain nations that we will just always seem to be on the edge of war with? Because the Devil is a devil of war, thats what He wants to do is bring about another third war
13 And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs. 14 For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. 15 (“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”)
That is why it is importantn that you pray for our nation. Pray for our president. Pray for those in power, they face stronger demons than you and I do. I read a book by John Eldridge called Moving Mountains, He tells the story of a previous President that recently got elected, and when He was elected he saw powerful demons flying in and out of the White House. What had changed? There was a transfer of power.
Right now all of Hell is being leveled against the President and it is important that we stand in the gap for him and that lies would be exposed
Let me tell you one of the lies that is being pushed, and pushed so often and so forcebly that many have just assumed it was true.
By the way that is one of the tactics in that book I told you about last week Rules for Radicals
Do you know that for 30 or 40 years before he took the presidency He was a Democrat, and never, I mean never was he ever called a racists, or a white supremisists.
In fact until this Epidemic, before this election year, the black unemployment rate was the lowest, the lowest that it has ever been! That’s a fact. I looked it up. You know the labor department keeps up with these statistics

Whats going on is sinister it is demonic, listen to me there is a spiritual war going on right now for the heart of our country and it is High time that we get in the game and get our our knees and fight for our president, fight for the heart and soul of our nation!
You say are you serious? I cant go up against that, plus you say he has an army of those types os spirits behind him. Yeah in Revelation 9 there are 4 extrememely foul and vile Demons that God has locked up until the tribulation and these hardened criminsals will be released, They are so powerful that they kill a third of humanity. And provoke a 200 million man army to march across the asian continent. And right before that thousands are released to pplague humanity. Thye are taking orders right from the devil
Question why do you think the devil tryed so hard to Kill this child? Why did Herod kill all the kids in Bethlehem 2 years and younger when Christ was born?
Because The Devil is Powerful, but this Champion that is given tyo Us is all powerful. Sure Satan took a third of the angels, But this Champoin is the Lord of Hosts and commands the other two thirds. That means for every demon God still has two hangels?
The Devil has 7 Diadems which may represent him winning the seven continents of the word, But our King will rip them off his shameful head. But Our King in ch 17 has a crown with many diadems he rules many realms. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He will not be stopped, He will not be diverted, when He returns He is not coming to take part He is coming to take over. And the Bible says that we overcome the devil by the power of the Blood and by the word of our testimony!
Do you know Him. Is He your King. Have you surrendered your rebel heart to the one that can give you a new heart?
Hell is the destiny of Satan and his demons. That is what Jesus taught about those who will be judged in the final day: “Then He will also say to those on the left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels’” (Matthew 25:41). God did not make hell for you. God made hell for the devil and the devil's angels. But if you choose to follow Satan, that will be your destiny. You will go as an intruder.
