Homiletical Statement:           You can make God happy be becoming “we”.

I.          Learn to recognize the “we” principles.

            A.        Christ gives encouragement.

            B.        Christ’s love is comforting.

            C.        The Spirit provides fellowship.

            D.        Affection and compassion are part of the body.

II.        Commit to apply the “we” principles.

            A.        Commit to unity in our minds.

            B.        Commit to unity in our emotions.

            C.        Commit to unity in our spiritual lives.

            D.        commit to unity in our focus.

III.       Work to obey the “we” principles.

            A.        Obedience requires that our focus must not be on ourselves.

                        1.         Do not act out of selfishness.

                        2.         Do not act out of empty conceit.

                        3.         Do not only look out for yourself.

            B.        Obedience requires that our focus should be on others.

                        1.         We must focus on other people.

                        2.         We must focus on the interests of other people.
