Introduction

Suffering is an inescapable reality of the Christian life.

The problem is that many have concluded that the solution to suffering is to simply avoid it or avoid Christianity.

Why must we go through what Christ went through if he already atoned for our sins?

The way to that celestial home in heaven has been paved by Christ. But to get there we must follow in his foot steps. That journey includes suffering.
