“The End Of The Age”
3 As He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”
4 Jesus answered them, “Take heed that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. For all these things must happen, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, epidemics, and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 “Then they will hand you over to be persecuted and will kill you. And you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.
10 Then many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another.
11 And many false prophets will rise and will deceive many.
12 Because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
The disciples wanted to know the secret answers of when Jesus was coming back.
They wanted the inside scoop!
There are signs that God has allowed to be told that will tell us when the season is coming for the return of Christ.
The question is do you know the signs or are you paying attention to the signs that are around us?
7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know the times or the dates, which the Father has fixed by His own authority.
The end of the age is an expression that tells us that this is the time when Jesus comes back and the beginning of the end has started.
We plan on do an extensive study on the end times starting in July on Sunday nights.
When it comes to the sequence of events, the Word has told us what will happen and when, but we have to study the scriptures in order to see them.
The end of the age for a Christian, is a glorious time, because it means that we are closer to eternity that we get to spend in our Lord and saviour’s presence.
Are you ready for the end to come or are you focusing on the things that you want to do before that happens?

Give your heart to the Lord?
Get rid of some habits in your life?
Change your attitude towards others?
What do YOU need to do?
The important thing is that you are ready.
We must do what ever it takes!

6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.
Deception!
We have talked about this one for a while now, but it has to be said as much as the Lord wants me to say it.
We are susceptible to deception because of our weaknesses in the flesh.
When Jesus said this, He was talking to His disciples.
They knew Jesus and walked with Him and talked with Him.
They wee close!
How close are you to Christ?
We need to stay were God can keep us on track.
