James 1:1 KJV 1900
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
Servant - serves out of love
James 1:2 KJV 1900
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
James 1:3 KJV 1900
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
James 1:4 KJV 1900
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
James 1:5 KJV 1900
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
James 1:19 KJV 1900
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
Listen - find out what is going on.
Slow to speak - measure your words. Gracefully. Lovingly.
Slow to wrath - Anger
James 1:20 KJV 1900
For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
James 1:21 KJV 1900
Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

vs. 25 - those who look into the perfect law of liberty and continue as a doer of the work, THIS MAN SHALL BE BLESSED IN HIS DEED.
