Part 1: Where Is God?
WHY DON’T I ALWAYS FEEL GOD?
1.) Perhaps You’re Expecting Too Much.
John 6:30, “…So they asked him, ‘What miraculous sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?’”
2.) Perhaps You’re Distracted By Life.
Luke 10:38-40, “…But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made.”
3.) Perhaps You’re Heart Is Hard.
Matthew 13:14-15, “… this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.”
4.) Perhaps Sin Has Cut You Off.
Isaiah 59:1-2, “…there is a problem — your sins have cut you off from God.” (NLT)
5.) Perhaps You Don’t Have A Relationship With God.
John 7:28-29, “You do not know him, but I know him because I am from him and he sent me.”
PROMISES FOR EXPERIENCING GOD’S PRESENCE
1.) If You Seek God, You Will Find Him.
Jeremiah 29:13-14, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the LORD…”
2.) God’s Presence Can Live In You.
John 14:16-17, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit… he lives with you now and later will be in you.”(NLT)
3.) God Is Here.
Acts 17:27, “God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.”
