Some of us have this false understanding about persecution and we see it as if it is the loss of the church or the defeat of Christ. But I would like to tell you that the fire that burns in the world purifies and strenghs the church. Persecution if the fuel that ignites the church. It means the Lord is calling us closer to him. It means he is reminding us that we don’t belong here. It’s the confirmation that we are not of this world. As Jesus said, if they hated me, they will ghate you also.
