Tonight we're getting the word.

man, I tell you they saw a just so much on my heart so much on my mind so many things I want to say so many things I want to fix so many things I want to see different so many things I'm disappointed in so many things that that concern me and And there's no way I could touch on him tonight and and probably some of them Lord wouldn't have me to touch on them. What at the end of the day? All those things I listed I have to come all the way full circle back around and ask myself the question.

How do I fit in or how do I play in as being part of the solution? As part of the Act II Men as a as a means of help to other people and that's a question that I have to wrestle with and come to grips with every day. Amen. Amen. Now true enough. We cannot through our actions. We cannot make anybody's Choice form nor can we control them? But praise be to God we can let our light shine and and and and I'll say this and would jump right on in the scripture reading tonight, but

Now is not the time for the church to hide in the closet.

And I don't necessarily mean. That in terms of the church going out and picking a fight as I mean it in in this light here is that when we look across this nation and I actually did it extends out beyond our own borders and all corners of the world if you might put it like that and and you looked at the CDs beer that has grab mankind. If you look at the chaos between mankind it if you looked at the the trouble in the uncertainty of monks mankind, if you look at the wicked that that is a bong people's faces if there's ever a time for you and I to kick this thing in overdrive specially my friend. It's not it's not when the grass is green. And in the Harvest is Lush. No, sir. It's it's it's when times are tough because do you realize that that end in this world? We live in today. Amen that did actually it should be easier for us to minister with the way things are right now than they are when they're good. I know an old prison evangelist told me this one time. He said man. He said he said preaching in a prison is it that's the easiest group you ever seen the priests to because they are hungry for that Liberty. We spoke of this morning because Liberty as they know it has been stripped of them. He said in there there such a hungry crowd the priest and I want to tell you you want to go to a lively church service you go to a prison service. It gets it gets Lively and and so if that's the case when you look at it on that level then the people out across this land.

Especially the people that are trouble in that are hurting. They should be easier to connect with. They should be more hungry. For a mean to make some sense of of all of the nonsense Amen to to find a peace and Assurance where there's nothing but uncertainty. That's just my thought and I don't mean that's right. And tonight we're going to we're going to read just just a few scriptures. These are some of I know it's going to surprise you when I say that some of my favorite scripture.

Will again reading God's word and verse number one.

Our lives may be touched and changed by your word is my prayer tonight in it for all you do father would give you the praise and honor and the glory in the name of Jesus and the church says amen and amen. So when we get in the 54th chapter of the book of Isaiah here, there's a couple of references that are made and I guess before we get on where I want to be at when you know, we got to put them in the right perspective and in the end I like what he says here any any any any any just throws it on out there and when we read this and give us a little insight into the vision that was given to Pier when Peter seemed to clean and unclean animals and the spirit of the Lord moved upon him and said Peter rise slay and eat and Peter said not so I from my youth up. I've never ate anything unclean ceremonial. Why is he said I'm not going to do it now and and the Lord spoke to him that in that Vision. He said what I've called. Don't you call unclean and and and and after Peter leaves that Vision moments. I say moments after the following that we find Peter preaching to the Gentiles. Amen. We find the Gentiles receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and our hearts just become blessed in MN scripture. Now, we see this beautiful gift call Salvation going beyond the borders of the House of Israel and and it's absolutely beautiful. And so I said this years earlier than that and God spoke to him and he's looking down Through the Ages amen, and he give them a little inside and and he speaks of the the married wife and and and her children and that being the Israelites and and and that's how good that's all great many ghosts. What about the desolate and how how great those numbers are going to be in and and and he begins talking about the rejoicing in the singing in the cranial allowed over over those coming into that family are being if you want to see me being adopted into that family. You could say it like that in his litter and is a beautiful scene and and then and then we get into that next person. And in that second verse I love how he says it. And he says it like this and I'll paraphrase what he said what he said man is going to be so many of y'all you going to need a bigger house. I like it. I mean he said hey, he said you can't he big enough for what God is fixing to do we still believe that and I'm not planning on preaching on this but I am going to mention this while I'm there. I'm afraid that Wiz Christians have have have decided that ain't going to be no more Revival and when I'm not talking about just a series of meeting, but I'm talkin about Soul Saving revivals. Amen that that that that orchestrates that turns the lines of communities around and and I want you to know today. God has not come to a place where he's kick back in his easy chair like I did today. And said, you know, I don't think I'm going to do that no more. No sir friend and you you make no mistake about it. And is he looks down upon mankind today? I can assure you his heart is broken over the way that man cat is acting over the direction mankind is going on the lack of love that is in the hearts of people amen. And an inn on the complete disregard as to the the Eternal aspect of one's choices and nobody's worried about that because there's no fear of God. Are you man in people's lives anymore? Amen, if they is there one just what they had cut out some of that foolishness and get down to business with the Lord. Amen. And and so when I read those verses what part of it just really chastises me.

And it makes me wonder bread or are you still believing in a breakout Revival? When I look at the great amount of wickedness that's going on in Mankind's hearts. I have to roll myself over to the fact that there's potential for it. Right. Now if everybody was saying John Cena probably going to be no Big soulsavers Revival happen. Cuz everybody's right.

But that's far from the case end in in here Isaiah. Isaiah talks about this this was dropped in the Gentiles in and in this this this house growing. Now they don't want us to get in actually put that in second verse back up there. I want to see.

Yes, sir we go. I want us to get in this in. He says enlarge the place of that tent. And let them stretch forth the curtains of the habitations. We're not in Inlet. Leave it up there for a minute. He went when he says something that I really loved and and and I wanted to make sure that you understood tonight that I am cuz I don't like to take something out of context that he is absolutely talkin about the the growth of God's people.

I was I was really chewing on the scriptures one night. and the in the oddest things come to my mind and and I thought about a camping trip that me and the little buddy of mine had went on in and only thing missing from it was Was Jason off of Friday the 13th? That's how horrible of a camping trip there was we fell in the creek. Everything got wet ski is a toss-up lost rod and reels dungeon. Couldn't get a minute was the most miserable night of my life. And what the thing I remember is that tent we had back in the day. Nothing. Now today's day and time you can go to Walmart and buy tenth the size of this Sanctuary you can take it out of the box for one string back up and blue that Lou sets itself up and that's about all you can fit in it was a puppy and and in the way that you use to lay it out and it had

It had it had a little state for each corner of the base. And then only side and only in and had little aluminum pole that you had to be real careful with the you didn't break that and and you'd have a little over adjustable nylon cord in your tablet pole off and you can go out here a few feet. And you had a I don't know what 20 penny nail or or 16th little aluminum Spike and that's what you put in the ground and interesting enough it held it held the one night. We tried to sleep in and it held us and all the mosquitoes you could fit in it. Held it just fine and I'm telling you it was at as I probably was only as I probably only 10 or 11 year old kid ever prayed for the Lord to come get. I mean to let us know where I can make it to Daylight and I'm going to the point you just about had to have a blood transfusion by the time daylight got there, but we don't want to remember that trip no more. But I remember that about that that little tent and it was enough it was enough for two people in it didn't take much to hold it up. Also remember when I was about 10 going to the circus over Jasper first time I've ever gone to the circus and they used to use that would go kart track around there. Some of you probably remember it. It was It was kind of down arrow on down from the movie theater on the corner down there seemed like they had to put put golf course in somewhere right along there between there and their whole car wash to but but anyway that that circus was set up kind of down that way on the lot. That was that a bigger tent than the one that we camped in.

I'm here was a big dude and in the interesting thing was

the the rope that they used to Anchor it down. We're not a small cord, but they're there an inch and 1/4 rope and the states that they used were not a 20 penny nail, but they're probably 6 ft long good good one inch look like sucker Rod. I mean they are some big steak. Why did they use a state that big because fourteen that big friend you got to have something that I can go deep and we'll we'll hang on and

and in our lives

God is calling us.

2 quit being conservative. I don't mean politically I mean it in effort and in servitude. The word he said spare not. nnnnn our servitude we should never So sparingly. Another take off on the parable of the sower and the seed and I won't but I will tell you this when the store so is the seed in the seed is God's word. He does not take a little little bit of seed in just scattered in the fertile. But instead he grabs a handful of seed and he throws it everywhere. Those it only good ground. He throws it on the bad ground. He throws it on the Rocks. He throws it on the side while he throws it in the Briar Patch. He's not faring it all when we read this and that it says Fahrenheit and it says do two things before there are two things what they actually fall under one simple pretense and that he is grown. This this whole verses about the growth of the nation tonight just the Lord and just imprinted on me grow as a Christian. Bigger than that to man puts in that that's barely hanging on and barely standing and enrolling growing in Grace in spirit and in truth and and getting his word and develop a healthy prayer life and spare not in grow into this into this this bigger dwelling and in and you say will preacher and you saying become more than then I am absolutely yes. Yes in Christ Jesus. I learn so many things over the years this morning briefly talked about having even some some things that I had to To separate myself from after I got saved and that was just one or two on the list. I learned I learned how to how to truly forgive after I was saying not in the altar when I got saved. It is when I got saved in the altar that night. It was easy to forgive the people. I wanted to forgive but God had to work on me and bring me to a place to forgive the people. I did not want to forgive. Mmm, as God helped me accomplish that guess what? growing a little bit and as I grow

I had to learn. Here we go. And I didn't learn it until after I got to save this is going to shock you but when I got up out and out of an altar prayer when I got saved, I did not stand up a good tither.

I stood up a cheapskate.

And Lord, I'm going to do my best to give you what I can. And he had to laughed at that.

And he did the most amazing thing. He never transgressed my choice, but he corralled me over here into a corner.

And I I never forget it. I said Lord. You're right. What are you on the run from out of a men's up in here tonight? I see you're right. I said on paper. There's no way this is going to work. But I'm all yours is coming off the top before anybody else gets there in the most amazing thing happened.

But all my bills is paid and is it as it's obvious? I didn't miss no meals. And guess what? Windhaven help me and he proved to me read this is doable. I'm growing a little bit. Amen, I never forget the Lord laying people on my heart after I got saved and go and talk to and love only witness to and and and when we get the glory if we go if he lets Union Missionary walk through the gates as a group. He's probably going to say boy y'all's preacher. He had more excuses than all of y'all together.

And I would come up with so many different excuses. And once again the Lord brought me to a place with a young man and I'm not going to go into it for time sake but putting the young man that he had laid on my heart time and time again and I come up with every excuse Under the Sun and then all the sudden I look up one day and he's singing in the church choir and if they have nothing to do with it. And I made him a promise that day I said you will never have to tell me more than once. To go get him or go after somebody and and Enzo that one hurt. Guess what? I did, I grew a little bit more.

He's talking about. his people growing in numbers But you as a a child of God you grow in spirit.

And and what's needful for you personally is also the same thing that's needful from you from your community. You said something tonight? You had no idea what what you were saying as far as hot was relating to where I'm at. But you were talking about praying for your co-workers and you made the comment and you and I ain't even talk what you made a comment. I know that there's there's nothing bad wrong with him or anything. But but this is what you felt led to do and it's because it's because you're beginning to grow outside of you.

You see we we we have to we have the growing now to finish that comment. I made earlier is this community? And I tonight if I could ever get anything across this disk this community needs. For you to grow. Not for you, but for them.

I'm afraid spiritually. I'm afraid that I'm still I'm still over here in my little two-man pup tent that's just big enough for me.

He steadily cooling us and defining us and in helping us to growing and praise be to God. We we have we have the most awesome privilege that we live in a place where we can sit down in the comfort of our home with that annoying blowing out of that vent on us at the same time. Amen and open up his word and see what the said the word of God and and it's one thing if I read it but when I take it and I and I not only read it, but I applied guess what I am taking that old that old Hammer Of Truth and I'm driving that play that much deeper and the deeper that thing gets when all of this chaos around us finally makes its way to me personally. Guess what you can blow if you want to amen. Metal the top of it with this old house. It might sway a member this not going to fall a mean why because it's founded on truth in Christ Jesus and then I'm dug in deep. Do you do you follow me tonight, you know and an inn in. Let God grow you let him make you some more than you are.
