The Assignment - Part 2

Jeremiah 1:5 The Message
5 “Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet to the nations— that’s what I had in mind for you.”
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith!

Your Assignment Requires Time

Time Is The Currency of Earth.
The dollar is the currency of the United States.
The peso is the currency of Mexico.
The franc is the currency of France.
The currency of earth is Time.
God did not give you friends. He gave you Time, and you invested Time into people and created friendships.
God did not give you money. He gave you Time.
You exchanged it for paper money from your employer or business
God uses Time to achieve His own goals on earth.
He uses time to develop the Seeds of greatness He plants in the soil of people.

Your Assignment Will Require Time—more than you realize.

It will require preparation time; seasons of negotiation;
seasons of insignificance;
seasons of meditation;
seasons of agitation.
And yes, even seasons of warfare.
Moses was trained by God for 80 years before becoming a great deliverer.
Jesus invested 30 years of time before beginning His earthly ministry of three and one half years.
Ecclesiastes 3:1–8 NLT
1 For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. 2 A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest. 3 A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up. 4 A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. 5 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones. A time to embrace and a time to turn away. 6 A time to search and a time to quit searching. A time to keep and a time to throw away. 7 A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak. 8 A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV
11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Greatness will cost you the currency of Time.
It takes Time to develop a relationship with your mentor.
It takes Time to establish a proven reputation of integrity.
It takes Time to carefully build a financial foundation for a great future.
It takes Time to extract information from a crisis or critical moment in your life.
It takes Time to be restored when you have made a major mistake.
Galatians 6:9 NLT
9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

You Cannot Save Time - You Must Learn To Invest It Wisely!

Ephesians 5:15 GW
15 So then, be very careful how you live. Don’t live like foolish people but like wise people.
Ephesians 5:16 NLT
16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.
Ephesians 5:16 NKJV
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Time is the gift of God; We have time.
What you and I are to do is to use our time to buy things of value.
We must redeem time, to turn our time in, for things of value.
This means two things. 1. You must use your time wisely; Don’t waste time.
Time is a gift of God. We don’t buy time ; We already have time.
When we are born into the world, we are born into time.
Time exists—it is here with or without us.
We do not have to do a single thing to redeem it. What we have to do is to use time—use it wisely—use it to do the best that we can.

Your Assignment Takes Time

1 Corinthians 7:29–31 NLT
29 But let me say this, dear brothers and sisters: The time that remains is very short. So from now on, those with wives should not focus only on their marriage. 30 Those who weep or who rejoice or who buy things should not be absorbed by their weeping or their joy or their possessions. 31 Those who use the things of the world should not become attached to them. For this world as we know it will soon pass away.
2 Corinthians 10:5 NLT
5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.
Psalm 90:12 NKJV
12 So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Focus on Today.
You see, in a sense, you will never really see your future.
When you arrive at your future, you will call it, “Today.”
Yesterday is over.
Tomorrow is not here yet.
Yesterday is in the tomb. Tomorrow is in the womb.
Today Is Really Your Life.
