Matthew 28:19–20 NKJV
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

The Rock is all about disciple making

the core word in discipleship is discipline.
in order to walk in the things of God we have to understand that we as people of the kingdom of God are about change.
Ephesians 4:15 NKJV
15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—
notice the verse tells us to grow up!
one thing is for certain others are not the standard that we grade ourselves by it is Christ.
if you are not equal to christ there is room to grow.
read the quote
if I am not growing its not God’s fault it is mine.
James 4:8 NKJV
8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
most of the time I chose the pace at which I Grow. i.e. “I am not waiting on God, He is waiting on me.
let me unpack that statement a little.
if we are not moving forward there is a reason. I may not understand the reason because i am unwilling to look at it.
I may think that because God allowed me to get away with things before that he is allowing me now and its not the truth.
there may have been a time when you didst know you where tore up from the floor up but now you know. your still trying to act like its back in the day and you wonder why your life is stale.
God is waiting on you to come clean.
God is waiting on you to stop faking it.
God is waiting on you to stop playing games with your relationships.
your not waiting on God, He is waiting on you!

Because we are disciples, we are sons and daughters.

1 Corinthians 4:15 NKJV
15 For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
Part of this verse is awesome because if you didn't have a great example God uses these relationships in the church to fill in the gaps with what was lost in the family of origin.
we get to bless people and encourage people in the things of life as well as the things of God.
Matthew 7:11 NKJV
11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
we get to confirm what God is doing in your life.
we get to encourage you when you are down.
we get to receive your dreams and visions.
we get to walk with you in those dreams and visions.
we also have to hold you accountable when you are not walking the path that God called you to walk.
Hebrews 12:6–11 (NKJV)
6 For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” 7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
no correction? then you are spiritually illegitimate.
how you receive the correction you are given determines your placement in the kingdom.

We got here sinners, we are still sinners. that’s where the imperfect people comes from in the “Imperfect” People progressing in their purpose comes from.

Romans 3:23 NKJV
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
1 John 1:8 NKJV
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
we should not forget where we came from .
we should not act as if there is no sin in our own lives.
we should not use “I’m going to have sin in my life anyway as an excuse”
