Proverbs 5:15–23 HCSB

15 Drink water from your own cistern, water flowing from your own well. 16 Should your springs flow in the streets, streams of water in the public squares? 17 They should be for you alone and not for you to share with strangers. 18 Let your fountain be blessed, and take pleasure in the wife of your youth. 19 A loving doe, a graceful fawn— let her breasts always satisfy you; be lost in her love forever. 20 Why, my son, would you be infatuated with a forbidden woman or embrace the breast of a stranger? 21 For a man’s ways are before the Lord’s eyes, and He considers all his paths. 22 A wicked man’s iniquities entrap him; he is entangled in the ropes of his own sin. 23 He will die because there is no discipline, and be lost because of his great stupidity.

Entangle:

Cause to become twisted together with or caught in.

involve (someone) in difficulties or complicated circumstances from which it is difficult to escape.

What is an entangled relationship?

If you're feeling drained with your partner, you're likely caught up in an entanglement. In a harmonious relationship, both people take responsibility for any issues that arise, and they come up with creative solutions that further add to the positive feelings they share.

Relationship: an emotional and sexual association between two people.

15 Drink water from your own well— share your love only with your wife. 16 Why spill the water of your springs in the streets, having sex with just anyone? 17 You should reserve it for yourselves. Never share it with strangers. 18 Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you. Rejoice in the wife of your youth.

Stage One:

When a couple is open to others!!

(You Can’t share Your Love)

Stage Two:

When your suffering pain that no one has caused

Stage Three:

When You feel broken inside and seek the forbidden fruit

When You Need People to make you happy and can’t find it in yourself

When you take advantage of a person that you know is vulnerable

Stage SIX:

Over Time, a Different type of Entanglement came

Just want to feel good

Get joy helping sick people depend on you

It’s a need to fix in others, you can’t fix in your self
