In this time of "cancel culture," where people want to delete anything they deem offense or negative thinking that it will fix their problems or the problems they perceive to be in the world, this would be a good message to listen to. It could explain why we don't hear of many Christian associations condemning the past and wanting silence those who may believe something that conflicts with what we believe. Pastor Harrison did not present this message with that in mind, but it seems to speak to that idea as well as the lesson he wanted to share.
