What does it mean to have ‘life to the full’? What does it mean to have ‘abundant life’? In the next “I Am” claim and metaphor, Jesus talks about being the Good Shepherd. And in his explanation of the shepherd and his sheep, he gives all the ingredients of a full and abundant life, which is all about knowing him and having a relationship with him. Jesus shows what true wealth is in the description of the shepherd’s provision, protection and salvation. All we need to do is listen to his voice and trust him. Will you hear him out? Will you consider his offer of rich, full, abundant life?
