King Jeroboam's sins hurt people that he didn't even know

Jeroboam provoked God by worshipping other gods.

Three reasons or ways to know that what I do impacts you:

1. YOU are being watched. (What you do often has a greater impact than what you say). Jeroboam did exactly what God told him not to do.

2. Don't drift

Jeroboam drifted from the word. He diverted. (See Deuteronomy 17:3 ...served other gods and worshiped them...which I have not commanded). We should follow God's word and not take our focus off of the Lord.

3. Walk-in God's way. What we all do impacts others. We have an impact on future generations.
