I love it when God is bold!

Isaiah 46:8–11 ESV
“Remember this and stand firm, recall it to mind, you transgressors, remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’ calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it.
Matthew 7:22–23 ESV
On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
John 10:28–29 ESV
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
That is why I love it when God is bold; my salvation and that of my loved ones depends on it! HE IS GOD!

The Word

God’s leading

Jesus

1 John 3:8 ESV
Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.

Scripture

All scripture is breathed out by God - 2 Tim 3:16
This, then is the primary application of Isaiah’s words; that the written and preserved Word of God shall not return void, but rather accomplish the manifold purposes for which God has sent it

Does it accomplish Judgment?

Flood of Genesis 6
The many pagan nations prophesied against in the OT
The destruction of Israel and Judah
The destruction of the temple (Jesus, Matt 24)
Individual culpability
John 9:40–41 ESV
Some of the Pharisees near him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.
Every person will stand in judgment for the amount of light revealed to them, and if they are not covered in Jesus’ blood, the Word of God will be the overwhelming witness against them; condemning them for breaking God’s Holy Law

Does it accomplish Salvation?

1 Peter 1:23 ESV
since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;
Romans 10:13–17 ESV
For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
This is why I go all in on the Word of God. This is why we ought to conform our entire lives by the Word of God. This is why we should always be learning more that we may share the Word of God; it will absolutely bring judgment on many, but is the ONLY means of rescue and of salvation for ourselves and our loved ones!

Will it work for us?

No, it works for God and HIS purposes

Joshua 5:13–14 ESV
When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing before him with his drawn sword in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us, or for our adversaries?” And he said, “No; but I am the commander of the army of the Lord. Now I have come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped and said to him, “What does my lord say to his servant?”
