The Dore River

An insignificant river to many, lost on the big map / small beside the Fraser — to me, the Dore River, has many memories. not far from my back yard. the river and old logging road winds through the Dore River valley to the base of the mountain by the same name. our house, the last before the wilderness stretched for hundreds of miles

teaming with wildlife deer, moose, elk predators like bear, coyotes, and a known wolf pack and tracks of elusive wolverine and oh yes mountain lion

we loved to take outings as a church family --- hiking up the Dore River Road when the wolf pack or mountain lions were in the area

we would reconsider the hike or STAY TOGETHER in a larger group

The Heart Matters

In this world everyone of us knows hurt and pain of the heart WE ALL NEED JESUS TO HEAL US!!!!

Matthew 11:28–29 NKJV

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

A Heart to forgive

A Heart of love toward a brother or sister to encourage, support, when we are told not to judge!!

A HEART that WILL NOT JUDGE

“By their fruits you will know them” Matthew 7:16 Those who come saying they have a message from God // new “truth”

CONCLUSION

we are in this world, yes in Goldendale, Satan is angry and I know and you know that if in Paul’s day he warned of challenges within and without

TODAY — just before Jesus comes, Satan will be pulling out all the stops and he know our weak points

OUR Strength is JESUS we can not look to ourselves — look to Jesus encourage one another, PRESS TOGETHER PRESS TOGETHER

let ME SAY IT VERY CLEARLY the wolf pack is very active!!! The mountain lions are hungry!!!! (remember the lions den) Those who depend on Jesus will not become “cat food”

We are told there is safety in a multitude of Counselors — so press together!!!!!
